Job summary

Whakatane District Council – Whakatane, North Island is seeking an experienced Head Housekeeper to lead Riverside Holiday Park's housekeeping and guest services. You will manage day-to-day operations, maintain high presentation and safety standards, and coach the team to deliver outstanding experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience in a senior or supervisory role within hospitality, tourism, accommodation, or a customer-focused environment.
• Ability to coach, support, and develop others.
• Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Commitment to quality, health and safety, and continuous improvement.
• Flexibility to work a roster including weekends, public holidays, and peak periods.
