Job summary

Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora invites two experienced General Medicine Physicians to Nelson Hospital. The roles involve delivering high-quality general medicine care across acute and inpatient settings within a collaborative multidisciplinary team.

The positions offer opportunities to teach, develop junior staff, and contribute to service design, including a new 225-bed clinical services block, in a supportive secondary care environment in Nelson.

Qualifications

• Reliable team player with strong communication in multidisciplinary settings.
• Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians (FRACP) or equivalent is required.
• Eligible for Annual Practising Certificate and vocational scope in Internal Medicine/Rural Hospital Medicine.
