Job summary

ACC New Zealand is seeking a Senior Developer to design, build and support digital solutions that help ACC deliver better outcomes for New Zealanders. Working within our Digital Value Stream, you’ll contribute to the ongoing development of ACC's web platforms, improving security, performance, accessibility and reliability for customers and staff.

The appointing salary ranges from NZD 103,645 to NZD 126,677 based on experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in Agile delivery environments (Scrum/SAFe).
• Experience with React, TypeScript, Redux, Java, Spring Framework, Spring Boot, SQL and Maven.
• Experience with OpenShift/Kubernetes, Web APIs, SQL databases and CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Knowledge of SOLID, REST, automated testing, TDD/BDD.
• Experience designing and maintaining automated unit tests.
• Knowledge of web accessibility standards.
• Understanding networking principles for secure web apps.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder engagement.
• Collaborative approach including mentoring of other developers.
• NZ work rights at time of application.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and support digital solutions for ACC platforms.
