Placements24 is recruiting a Senior Full Stack Developer for a Queenstown-based software development client. The role demands expertise across frontend and backend, with RESTful APIs, databases, and modern frameworks. You will collaborate in a Hybrid setup, mixing remote work with on-site sessions in Queenstown.

Youll contribute to robust, scalable web applications, participate in code reviews, and help shape architectural decisions while staying current with new technologies and best practices.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years professional full-stack development.
• Proficiency with frontend HTML/CSS/JS and modern frameworks.
• Experience with Python/Django or Node.js/Express or Java/Spring.
• Experience with PostgreSQL/MySQL/MongoDB; Git familiarity; cloud experience a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in full-stack development.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
• Strong experience with backend languages and frameworks (e.g., Python/Django, Node.js/Express, Java/Spring).
• Solid understanding of database systems (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of software development principles and design patterns.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a Hybrid environment, collaborating both remotely and on-site in Queenstown, Eastern Cape .
