Job summary

Watercare Services Ltd is seeking a Senior Financial Assets Accountant to manage accounting and reporting for a substantial fixed asset portfolio. You will contribute to ERP system implementations and ensure accurate data structures and controls across Finance, Technology and Operations.

The role requires strong fixed asset accounting knowledge, experience with large ERP platforms (SAP/Oracle/Infor), and a collaborative approach to data quality and process improvement within a complex

Qualifications

• Degree in accounting or finance with a recognised professional qualification.
• Experience with fixed asset systems in a large enterprise.
• Experience supporting system implementations, upgrades or data migration.
• Strong fixed asset accounting knowledge including depreciation, capitalisation and reconciliations.

Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and reporting for a significant portion of Watercare's fixed asset portfolio.
• Support fixed asset and ERP system implementations and ongoing improvements.
• Review asset classifications, WIP, monthly reconciliations and asset disclosures.
• Prepare depreciation budgets, asset disclosures and respond to audit queries.
