Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Structural or Civil engineering.
• Experience in Fire Engineering or Fire Safety Compliance.
• NZ citizenship or permanent residency.
• Master's in Fire Engineering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical input and leadership on fire safety projects from inception to completion.
• Develop fire engineering solutions that meet NZ Building Code requirements and standards.
• Work directly with clients and project teams to understand challenges and deliver practical solutions.
• Think creatively and challenge conventional approaches for optimal client outcomes.
• Participate in site inspections and project reviews.
• Prepare and review technical reports and project documentation.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Mentor developing engineers and contribute to business growth in NZ.
