We’re travellers at heart, and we bring that spirit into everything we do - innovating, improving, and going further together.

Our culture is inclusive and values driven. We empower our people to make decisions, share ideas, and succeed. When you join SCTI, you’re joining a team that’s passionate about creating extraordinary outcomes for our customers and for each other.

About the role

This is a hands-on financial analysis role with real visibility across the business. You'll own core management reporting and performance analysis, helping leaders understand what’s driving performance and make better decisions for the future.

It's an excellent opportunity for a qualified accountant looking to broaden their commercial exposure and take the next step toward Finance Business Partnering. You'll work closely with a high-performing Finance team, building insights that support decision-making while gaining valuable experience across planning, forecasting, performance reporting and business partnering.

Key responsibilities
  • Deliver accurate and timely month-end management reporting, performance monitoring and financial analysis to support business decision-making.
  • Build, maintain and continuously improve Power BI reports and dashboards from the ground up, enhancing reporting capability and business insight
  • Support annual business planning, budgeting and forecasting, including ongoing monitoring of performance against plan.
  • Support business case development and investment analysis by developing financial models and scenario analysis.
  • Identify financial risks, opportunities and performance drivers, and explain them clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
  • Partner with Finance and teams across SCTI to improve financial reporting, data quality, business understanding and performance outcome
  • Support sound financial governance, external reporting and audit requirements when needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement of financial processes, reporting, data quality and business intelligence capabilities, including Power BI and AI-enabled tools.
About you

You’ll be a curious and capable finance professional who enjoys getting beneath the numbers and finding a smarter way forward. You’re ready to step up, keep learning and build trusted relationships across the business.

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Commerce, Finance or a similar field, plus CA, CPA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent qualification.
  • Relevant experience across management accounting, financial analysis and/or financial accounting, ideally around five years.
  • Strong financial modelling skills, including budgeting, forecasting and scenario analysis.
  • Hands-on Power BI capability, with experience developing and maintaining reports and dashboards.
  • Advanced Excel skills and confidence using modern financial planning and performance reporting tools.
  • Clear communication skills, with the ability to translate financial information for different audiences.
  • An inquisitive mindset, attention to detail and the confidence to ask why, challenge constructively and improve how work gets done.
  • Insurance experience or exposure to SAP, Solver, BI360 or AI-enabled analysis tools would be useful but is not essential.

If you don’t meet every point but can see yourself succeeding in this role, we’d still like to hear from you.
