Job summary

New Zealand Health Group is seeking a Business & Financial Analyst to join our Wellington CBD office for a 12-month fixed-term. You will analyse financial and operational performance, develop dashboards and reports, and provide data-driven recommendations to support strategic decisions across the organisation.

You'll partner with operational leaders, Finance and Contracts & Funding teams on key projects, support budgeting and forecasting, and contribute to funder reporting and continuous

Qualifications

• Experience in business analysis, financial analysis, reporting or a similar analytical role.
• Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with large, complex datasets.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• A commercially minded approach with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proactive self-management skills and the ability to build effective relationships across teams.

As our Business & Financial Analyst, you'll work closely with operational leaders and finance teams to analyse performance, identify opportunities and support strategic decision-making across the organisation. This is a 12 month Fixed Term Position working Monday to Friday 830am to 5pm and based in our Wellington CBD office.
