Job summary

JP Autos, a leading luxury vehicle dealer in Auckland, seeks a Senior Finance Manager to lead financial operations and drive strategic planning. You will report to the Director and collaborate with sales, operations and procurement teams to optimise profitability and cash flow.

The role requires strategic finance leadership, robust controls, and a track record in planning, budgeting and financial analysis to support growth and expansion.

Qualifications

• A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, Commerce or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior financial management or accounting role.
• Proven experience in financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management and cost control.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor budgetary and accounting strategies in consultation with the Director and other managers.
• Direct the preparation of financial reports including income statements, balance sheets and analyses of future earnings.
• Manage vehicle inventory financing and monitor stock turnover to optimise cash flow.
• Lead and support the dealership's finance and insurance function with external partners.
• Ensure compliance with NZ financial legislation, accounting standards and tax obligations.
• Advise the Director on investment strategies and growth opportunities.
