Job summary

Compressed Air Controls Napier is seeking a hands-on technician to install, service, maintain, diagnose, and repair compressed air and pneumatic equipment across customer sites and our workshop network. You’ll work independently and with a service team, supporting customers in the Lower North Island and traveling as required.

The role requires a trade qualification in a relevant discipline, strong hands-on technical skills, and the ability to communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• A trade qualification in mechanical, electrical, engineering, automotive, maintenance, or a related field.
• Strong hands-on technical skills and experience in a technical service environment.
• Willingness to travel across the Lower North Island and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service, repair, and diagnose compressed air and pneumatic equipment at customer sites and in the workshop.
• Plan and perform preventative maintenance using manuals, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Travel across the Lower North Island to support customer needs and liaise with coordinators on site issues.
