Job summary

Fuel Storage Ltd in Napier seeks a Retail Service Technician to service and repair fuel dispensing equipment across Hawke’s Bay. You’ll respond to breakdowns, perform preventative maintenance, and complete new installations, sometimes solo on-site and other times in workshop settings with the Napier team.

The role blends fault-finding, mechanical work and customer interaction to keep fuel systems safe, compliant and operational.

Qualifications

• Experience servicing fuel systems, pumps or similar mechanical equipment is highly regarded.
• Mechanically minded with electrical fault-finding ability.
• Ability to work independently and manage workload.
• Full Class 1 driver's licence.
• Comfortable working outdoors and travelling throughout Hawkes Bay.

Responsibilities

• Service and maintain fuel storage and dispensing systems
• Respond to breakdowns and complete preventative maintenance
• Carry out installation and fit-up work (site and workshop-based)
• Travel across the Hawkes Bay region
• Maintain high safety and compliance standards
