Job summary

BG&E is seeking a Senior Façade Engineer to join the NZ Facades team in Auckland, Christchurch, or Whangārei. You will lead façade design, manage complex projects and review technical submissions, partnering with developers and architects to achieve high‑quality outcomes.

You will be a Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership, with broad experience across façade types and knowledge of NZ standards. The role offers modern working arrangements within a global network.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in façade design/engineering with chartership progress.
• Knowledge of NZ codes and building physics.
• Portfolio across small to large façade projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide façade consultancy for NZ projects and deliver complex façade schemes.
• Review drawings, submissions, calculations and supplier data.
• Lead design team meetings and coordinate with other BG&E façade groups.
• Support business development and proposals for new façade projects.
