Job summary

BG&E New Zealand, a major engineering practice, seeks a Senior Façade Engineer to join its Christchurch team. You will contribute to façade design, project delivery, and client-facing leadership, ensuring high-quality, compliant solutions across NZ projects.

The role offers growth within BG&E's global façade network. Ideal candidates will have Chartered status or progress toward chartership, strong communication skills, and a track record across diverse façade types in a collaborative

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural or Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, or equivalent
• Proven façade design/engineering experience
• Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership
• Strong knowledge of national and international design codes
• Experience leading design teams and communicating with clients

Responsibilities

• Lead façade design, manage delivery and implementation of complex projects
• Review submissions, shop drawings and calculations
• Lead design team and site meetings; manage day-to-day communications
• Support NZ calculations and thermal analysis as needed
• Assist in business development and pursue new opportunities
