Job summary

The Environmental Protection Authority is seeking a Senior ETS Analyst, Operations in Wellington for a fixed-term 6-month role. You will provide high-quality analysis, strategic advice and implementation support across operational improvement initiatives, working with colleagues across the EPA and government to solve complex problems and deliver trusted regulatory services.

The position requires strong analytical and regulatory skills, excellent communication, and the ability to lead projects

Qualifications

• Experience providing high-quality analysis and advice in a complex operational, regulatory or policy environment.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage or lead complex projects and initiatives.
• Experience interpreting and applying legislation, policy or regulatory frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience working collaboratively across teams and organisations.
