Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Senior Environmental Policy Advisor / Senior Environmental Scientist for the Hamilton region to lead contaminated land projects and support business development. The role offers hybrid work options as you contribute to high-quality environmental deliverables and client-focused solutions.

You will apply technical consulting skills on diverse projects, coordinating fieldwork, reporting, and proposals, while advancing your career within a global team of professionals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or postgraduate degree in environmental science, geology or related earth science subjects.
• 5+ years in contaminated land management, environmental site assessments (PSI/DSI) and/or remediation projects.
• High competency field skills including sampling and monitoring of soil, groundwater, surface water, and vapours/gas.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage field investigations and technical reporting.
• Participate in fieldwork and lead by example in collecting environmental data.
• Prepare technical reports and other project deliverables to a high standard.
• Input to proposals and bids for large and small projects.
• Work with clients to build relationships and deliver solutions.
• Contribute to a high performing team.
• Support project delivery and management.
• Provide guidance to early professional and graduate colleagues.
