Job summary

ACC in Wellington is seeking a Lead Advisor, Enterprise Risk. You will shape risk thinking, influence senior decision-making and act as a trusted second-line adviser to Deputy Chief Executives, senior leaders and business groups.

You will lead quarterly enterprise risk reviews and workshops, challenge controls and risk appetite, connect insights to the Executive and Board, and contribute to risk framework improvements.

Qualifications

• Five+ years in risk, compliance, assurance or risk advisory.
• Practical experience applying risk frameworks in complex organisations.
• Proven ability to build trust with senior leaders and staff.
• Ability to facilitate risk conversations and challenge thinking on controls.
• Ability to connect risk insights to senior decision-making.
• Sound judgement, even temperament; ability to influence others.
• New Zealand work rights required.

Responsibilities
