Job summary

Wotton Kearney is seeking a Senior Employment Litigator Associate (4+ PQE) in Auckland City, NZ. This on-site, full-time role offers opportunities for career growth within a leading insurance and risk legal practice.

You will work closely with partners and senior lawyers on employment and workplace matters spanning EPL and financial lines. You will manage a range of disputes in courts and tribunals, including unfair dismissal, discrimination, and breach of contract matters, while collaborating

Qualifications

Experience in employment law, ideally with disputes experience.
Excellent research, writing and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach.
Interest in business development and client engagement.

Responsibilities

Contribute to a range of employment and workplace matters within EPL and broader financial lines context.
Manage own matters while collaborating on high-value issues.
Handle employment disputes in courts and tribunals, unfair dismissal and adverse action claims.
Assist with discrimination and harassment matters, breach of contract and restraint of trade litigation.
Participate in investigations and disciplinary proceedings; address employment-related regulatory disputes.
