What makes this opportunity particularly interesting is the breadth of work. You'll gain exposure across employment advisory, litigation and transactional matters, working with sophisticated corporate and public sector clients on issues ranging from employment relations and restraints through to complex disputes and M&A transactions.
There is also significant scope to develop your advocacy experience, with opportunities to appear in employment institutions and the higher courts. You'll work closely with experienced practitioners who will give you meaningful responsibility while providing the guidance and feedback needed to accelerate your development.
To be considered for this role, you will ideally have around 3-5 years' relevant experience in employment law and/or general litigation.
The firm is also open to lawyers coming from in-house, legal or HR environments who have developed relevant experience and are looking to specialise in employment law.
You'll be commercially minded, intellectually curious and comfortable tackling unfamiliar or complex issues. Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills will be important, as will the ability to deliver high-quality work while managing competing priorities.
Above all, you'll be motivated to develop, receptive to constructive feedback and committed to providing an exceptional level of service to both clients and colleagues.
