Job summary

Gallagher Group Limited is seeking an Electronics Engineer to join the New Ventures team and advance the next generation of eShepherd products powering a global livestock management solution. This senior-influenced role spans concept, circuit design, prototyping, testing, validation and production implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or related qualification.
• 3+ years' experience in product development.
• Proven experience developing commercial electronic products.
• Strong analogue and digital electronics design capability.
• Experience with PCB CAD and electronics design tools.
• Understanding EMC compliance and electrical safety standards.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex electronic faults.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Design electronic circuit solutions for new and existing products.
• Develop prototypes and support products from concept through production.
• Conduct testing, validation, and root-cause analysis to ensure performance.
• Ensure designs comply with EMC and electrical safety standards.
• Support technical reviews and contribute to engineering decisions.
• Collaborate with Product, Software, Manufacturing, Procurement, and NPI teams.
• Build relationships with suppliers and manufacturing partners.
• Support continuous improvement of engineering processes and methodologies.
• Mentor and support the development of fellow engineers.
