Job summary

BuildRight Construction AU in New Zealand is seeking an experienced Electrician with current registration to join a stable electrical team across commercial projects, infrastructure developments and street lighting. You will transfer your trade experience into a professional NZ environment, with qualifications and work history forming part of the assessment process.

Qualifications

• Must hold current EWRB Electrical Registration.
• NZ practising licence or ability to obtain one is required.
• 3–5+ years of relevant commercial electrical experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of electrical installation and maintenance.
• Demonstrated electrical employment experience.
• Ability to manage tasks with limited supervision.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and safety.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair electrical systems across commercial projects.
• Undertake electrical work within infrastructure developments.
• Complete street lighting installation, maintenance and servicing.
• Read and work from electrical drawings, plans and specifications.
• Inspect electrical systems and identify faults or technical issues.
• Complete troubleshooting and corrective electrical work.
• Work independently while maintaining project standards.
• Ensure electrical work is completed safely and in accordance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate and professional workmanship across assignments.
• Coordinate effectively with team members and other project personnel.
• Use electrical tools and equipment safely and responsibly.
• Support the delivery of multiple projects across different work environments.
