Job summary

Electro Services Limited in Westport is seeking an experienced senior electrician for a full-time, permanent role. You will lead projects, mentor electricians and apprentices, and liaise with customers and consultants to deliver quality outcomes across diverse industrial, commercial, and residential work.

Applicants should hold current NZ Electrical Registration (EWRB), have IMC experience (motors, VSDs, PLCs), and a valid NZ driving licence. Solar PV experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Current New Zealand Electrical Registration and a practising licence (EWRB).
• Experience in Industrial, Mechanical and Controls (IMC) environments, including motors, VSDs, PLCs and process control systems.
• Experience with solar PV installations would also be an advantage.
• Proven experience leading projects and supporting teams.
• Knowledge of New Zealand’s electrical safety regulations, and the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Full New Zealand driving licence.
• The legal right to work in New Zealand.
