Job summary

Kirimana in Auckland is seeking an Electrical Trade Assistant to support experienced electricians on large commercial sites. You will assist with installation, cable management, and reading plans under supervision.

Successful candidates will have commercial construction or electrical trade experience, site safety awareness, and reliable references. Full-time employment with entitlements and ongoing project opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• Site Safe required; MEWP ticket advantageous.

Electrical Trade Assistant - Auckland

We have opportunities available starting immediately for experienced Electrical Trade Assistants for large commercial construction projects across Auckland. With roles start immediately this is a great opportunity to utilise and build on your skillset.

We're looking for experienced trade assistants who can confidently support electrical teams, particularly with installation, containment, and associated site work.

What We're Looking For

You’ll work alongside experienced electricians and construction teams across large commercial sites. You’ll need to work safely, follow instructions and plans, and deliver accurate, high-quality installations.

• Assist qualified electricians with a range of general electrical installation and site duties
• Assist with installation of various fixtures, lighting, sockets and controls
• Measure, cut, assemble and install cable tray, brackets, supports, conduit and associated components
• Assist with cable pulling, cable management, equipment installation and other general electrical works
• Read and follow construction drawings, layouts, specifications and measurements
• Previous Electrical Trade Assistant, cable tray or commercial construction experience is an advantage
• Site Safe is required, an MEWP ticket is an advantage

You’ll need relevant commercial construction or electrical trade assistant experience, a strong work history and references that support your experience and standard of work.
