Job summary

Kirimana is seeking an experienced Electrical Trade Assistant for large commercial construction projects across Auckland. Roles start immediately, offering a great opportunity to utilise and build on your skillset.

You will work alongside electricians and construction teams, supporting with installation, containment, and site work while following plans and maintaining safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experienced Electrical Trade Assistant with construction experience.
• Site Safe is required; MEWP ticket is an advantage.
• Able to read construction drawings, layouts and measurements.
• Reliable work history with references preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified electricians with electrical installation and site duties.
• Install fixtures, lighting, sockets and controls.
• Measure, cut, assemble and install cable tray, brackets, supports and conduit.
• Read and follow construction drawings, layouts, specifications and measurements.
• Maintain safety and quality on busy commercial construction sites.
