Job summary

Kirimana is seeking experienced Electrical Trade Assistants to support large commercial construction projects across Auckland. Immediate starts available. You will work alongside licensed electricians, assist with installation, containment, and site duties, and contribute to high-quality electrical installations on site.

Ideal candidates have electrical trade assistant experience, a solid work history, and references. Site Safe is required; MEWP ticket is a plus.

Qualifications

• Relevant commercial construction or electrical trade assistant experience required.
• Strong work history and references to support experience and quality of work.
• Site Safe certification is required; MEWP ticket is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified electricians with general electrical installation and site duties.
• Assist with installation of fixtures, lighting, sockets and controls.
• Measure, cut, assemble and install cable tray, brackets, supports, conduit and related components.
• Assist with cable pulling and management and other general electrical works.
• Read and follow construction drawings, layouts, specs and measurements.
