Job summary

Worley is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead design and delivery across energy, resources and industrial projects from our Christchurch office. You will combine technical leadership with project delivery, mentor junior engineers and coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to meet safety, schedule and budget targets.

You\'ll engage client stakeholders, perform design reviews and drive sustainable outcomes while upholding Worley\'s values and global delivery excellence.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Significant NZ consulting/energy experience is preferred.
• Strong design and project delivery capability.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design and technical delivery across feasibility, FEED and detailed design phases.
• Prepare and review calculations, specifications, reports and technical documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior engineers.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives.
• Support project planning, scheduling, forecasting, risk management and progress reporting.
• Manage technical interfaces with clients, vendors and contractors.
• Monitor project scope, budget and schedule performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Lead design reviews, risk assessments and project meetings.
• Contribute to safe, efficient and sustainable project delivery.
