Job summary

Worley in Christchurch is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our multi-disciplinary team and lead electrical design across feasibility, FEED and detailed design phases. You will mentor junior engineers and coordinate with other disciplines to meet project objectives.

Based in our Christchurch office, you’ll deliver electrical solutions across energy, resources and industrial projects, while supporting planning, risk management and stakeholder engagement to ensure safe, sustainable

Qualifications

• Degree qualification in Electrical Engineering.
• Proven experience leading electrical design and delivery on complex projects.
• Significant NZ electrical engineering experience in consulting, energy, resources or industrial environments.
• Demonstrated project engineering or project delivery experience with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering design and technical delivery across feasibility, FEED and detailed design phases.
• Prepare and review calculations, specifications, reports and technical documentation.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior and intermediate engineers.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
• Support project planning, scheduling, forecasting, risk management and progress reporting.
• Manage technical interfaces with clients, vendors and contractors.
• Monitor project scope, budget and schedule performance, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Lead design reviews, risk assessments and project meetings.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of projects safely, efficiently and sustainably.
