Job summary

Beca in Christchurch is seeking an Associate/Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Building Services team. You will lead electrical design across complex projects, guide engineers, and engage with clients to deliver practical solutions aligned with NZ Building Code and standards.

You will contribute across the project lifecycle and help develop the team while managing multiple projects and relationships with stakeholders across health, education, commercial, and transport sectors.

Qualifications

• Relevant electrical engineering degree; Chartered status is preferred.
• Experience leading building services projects from concept to delivery.
• Strong communication and client engagement capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical building services design across the full project lifecycle.
• Coordinate multi-discipline teams and manage resources and schedules.
• Provide mentorship and contribute to technical governance and quality.
• Engage with clients to understand needs and deliver tailored solutions.
