Job summary

AECOM in Auckland is seeking a Senior Electrical & Controls Engineer to lead electrical design, instrumentation and controls work packages across diverse projects in the energy and industrial sectors.

You'll mentor team members, deliver drawings and specifications, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, compliant and timely project delivery from concept through commissioning.

Qualifications

• Experience in electrical, instrumentation and controls project delivery.
• Proven ability to design and supervise electrical and automation systems.
• Knowledge of PLC, SCADA and lighting design for industrial projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design, instrumentation and controls work packages across projects.
• Produce drawings and specifications for electrical and automation systems.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to meet time, budget and scope.
• Mentor teammates and support junior engineers in delivery and consulting.
• Ensure safety, quality and regulatory compliance throughout design and execution.
