Truck Stops (NZ) Ltd in Marlborough, Blenheim, is seeking a Senior Diesel Technician to lead a workshop team. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will supervise and coordinate the day-to-day workflow of technicians and apprentices, ensuring high standards and minimal downtime while mentoring the team.
This 80% hands-on role requires hands-on experience with heavy‑duty trucks, a strong safety mindset, and the ability to support admin tasks for workshop operations.

The Role Reporting to the Service Manager, as the Senior Technician in our workshop you will supervise and coordinate the day-to-day workflow of our skilled technicians and apprentices, ensuring the high standards our company and customers expect, while maximising resources and minimising downtime. Your hands on approach will demonstrate the importance of hard work and commitment to quality to the team and give you the opportunity to pass on your knowledge. We are a passionate, dedicated bunch of people who work hard to get the job done for our customers while supporting each other. No ego’s here! This is an 80% on-the-tools working alongside and mentoring the team, with 20% assisting the Service and Branch managers with admin tasks required to keep the workshop humming.
