Job summary

Slalom Build NZ is seeking a Senior Engineer, Data to lead the design and delivery of modern data solutions for clients in the Auckland area. You will shape data platforms using Snowflake and Databricks, work across AWS, Azure, and GCP, and influence project roadmaps while collaborating with prospective clients.

Qualifications

• Experience designing modern data platforms and architectures.
• Experience with cloud data ecosystems (AWS/Azure/GCP) and data pipelines.
• Familiarity with data workflows and MLOps is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and deliver data solutions on cloud platforms and data warehouses.
• Define cloud data strategy and phased implementation roadmaps for clients.
• Assist business development with pre-sales activities and contribute to data community initiatives.
