Job summary

Slalom is hiring a Senior Engineer, Software Engineering to join its NZ team. You will build high-quality software within a collaborative product engineering team, owning larger components and contributing across the stack. You’ll refine work with engineers and architects, applying core development tools and cloud-native practices.

Expect growth through new technologies and cross-functional collaboration. You will write and review code, verify units and integrations, and help automate procedures

Qualifications

• Recent, practical experience with a modern programming language.
• Experience with AWS, React, and Java/.NET Core/Python.
• Ability to develop multi-platform software and cloud-based solutions.
• Strong problem-solving and collaborative skills.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality software for cloud-based ecosystems and large components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, validate, and operate software at scale using agile methods.
• Review and refine the team’s work to align data, API, and UI components with product norms.
• Develop automation scripts and routines to maintain production components.
