Job summary

Genesis in Auckland, New Zealand is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to own business analysis across Data & AI initiatives. You’ll lead discovery, shape requirements and ensure practical, valuable solutions are adopted across Genesis.

You’ll bring extensive BA experience across technology, data, analytics or transformation programs, with strong stakeholder engagement. Experience with Databricks, Azure or Generative AI is advantageous.

Qualifications

Experience leading discovery, requirements definition, and process design.
Strong ability to translate business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
Experience working with multidisciplinary teams in Agile or hybrid delivery environments.

Responsibilities

Lead discovery to define business problems, opportunities, outcomes and Data & AI use cases.
Translate complex requirements into clear user stories, process designs and acceptance criteria.
Partner with sponsors, product owners and technical teams to prioritise requirements by value and feasibility.
Facilitate workshops and stakeholder discussions to build clarity and alignment.
Support testing, readiness and adoption with governance, privacy and responsible AI considerations.
