Job summary

Xplor Technologies is seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead CTIR incident response across our platforms and applications. You will triage, investigate, contain, eradicate and recover from security events, driving improvements and playbooks to strengthen defenses.

The role is fully remote for NZ-based candidates with strong incident handling, threat hunting, and SIEM/EDR experience. Apply to join our security-focused team.

Qualifications

• 3–6 years in security operations or incident response.
• Hands-on with incident handling lifecycle and on-call readiness.
• Strong triage and root-cause analysis across logs and endpoints.

Responsibilities

• Own incidents from detection to eradication and recovery.
• Lead live incidents and take the lead when needed.
• Investigate across logs, endpoints, email and network data.
• Coordinate with engineering and leadership during responses.
• Hunt threats and develop new detections and playbooks.
• Improve detection using MITRE ATT&CK and reduce noise.
