Job summary

WellSouth is seeking a Communications and Marketing Manager to lead our external profile across Otago and Southland. The role spans strategy, marketing and campaigns, media and issues, digital channels and brand, and will suit a senior practitioner who wants to apply the full range of their craft in a values-based organisation.

You will own WellSouth's social media and digital channels end to end, including the content calendar, publishing, paid social, moderation and monthly performance

Qualifications

• Senior communications/marketing or public relations experience with externally facing campaigns and measurable results.
• Tertiary qualification in marketing, communications, journalism or public relations.
• Experience running social media for an organisation including paid social and analytics.

Responsibilities

• Lead WellSouth's external profile across Otago and Southland including strategy, marketing and campaigns, media and issues, digital channels and brand.
• Own WellSouth's social media and digital channels end to end: content calendar, publishing, paid social, moderation and monthly performance reporting.
• Develop and deliver integrated campaigns and evaluate whether promotion achieves its goals.
• Manage brand consistency in public materials and oversee marketing budget and external supplier panel.
