Job summary
Silver Fern Farms is seeking a Senior Commercial Analyst to join the Commercial Operations team for a 12-month fixed-term parental leave cover. You will partner with manufacturing site leaders to turn data into insights, drive budgeting and forecasting, and prepare business cases for key initiatives.
The role involves cross-site analysis across labour, plant overheads and efficiency metrics, with strong emphasis on commercial decision-making and performance reporting.
Qualifications
- CA qualified or equivalent commercial experience preferred.
- Experience in commercial finance, management accounting or commercial analysis.
- Strong financial modelling and advanced Excel skills.
- Experience with Power BI, Databricks or similar analytics tools.
- Manufacturing or industrial sector experience is valued.
Responsibilities
- Provide financial modelling, analysis and commercial insights across multiple manufacturing sites.
- Support budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting for operational leaders.
- Prepare business cases, ROI assessments and scenario modelling for key initiatives.
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities to improve operational performance.
- Partner with site stakeholders to support informed and commercially sound decision-making.
