Job summary

Davis Ogilvie and Partners Ltd is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Wanaka team, delivering high-quality civil engineering services to the local market. You will work within a multidisciplinary group across the South Island, focusing on the Upper Clutha growth and landscape, including road, water, stormwater and wastewater projects.

You will apply your technical expertise, manage projects, liaise with clients and authorities, and mentor junior staff.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years’ experience in infrastructure design or land development.
• Chartered Professional Engineer, or working toward chartership.
• Strong English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil design across infrastructure, three-waters and land development.
• Prepare technical reports, design documentation, and engineering assessments.
• Undertaking design for roading, water supply, stormwater and wastewater infrastructure.
• Carrying out construction administration and observation.
• Collaborating with local team to deliver integrated land development solutions.
• Engaging with clients, contractors and local authorities throughout project delivery.
