Job summary

AECOM in Auckland is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead the design and delivery of roads, highways, and civil infrastructure. You will work with multidisciplinary teams across New Zealand and Australia, guiding projects from concept to construction while building strong client relationships.

Bring 6+ years in transportation projects, strong road design knowledge, and proficiency with Civil 3D/OpenRoads/AutoCAD.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
6+ years' professional experience in transportation, roads or civil infrastructure in NZ/Australia.
Strong understanding of road and highway design principles.
Familiarity with NZ standards, Austroads guidelines and transportation design practices.
Experience managing project tasks and multidisciplinary teams.
Experience designing signage/linemarking/safety barriers/highways/utilities.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of roads, highways and civil infrastructure projects.
Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to develop practical and innovative engineering solutions.
Provide technical leadership to ensure quality, programme and budget adherence.
Support projects from planning through to construction and client relations.
Mentor developing engineers and contribute to proposals and growth of transportation business.
Champion a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
