Job summary

Fluid Recruitment is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to lead civil design for land development and infrastructure projects in Hawke's Bay. You will own projects from concept to construction, coordinating with clients, councils, surveyors and contractors.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years' NZ civil experience, strong 12d/Civil3D knowledge, and a solid grasp of NZ standards. This role offers a secure pipeline of work and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in civil engineering within New Zealand.
• 12d Experience or strong working knowledge of Civil3D.
• Land development experience is highly desirable.
• Geotechnical experience is a bonus.
• Good understanding of NZ standards and council requirements.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships.
• 2+ years on New Zealand expereince is a must.

Responsibilities

• Civil design for land development projects.
• Stormwater, wastewater and roading design.
• 3D modelling and design using 12d software.
• Preparation of design documentation and reports.
• Liaising with clients and local authorities.
• Supporting junior engineers where appropriate.
