Job summary

Worley NZ is seeking a versatile Senior Civil Engineer with experience in roads, earthworks, drainage and industrial site development to deliver projects across the water, energy and industrial sectors.

You will lead civil design packages, coordinate surveys, liaise with multidisciplinary teams, manage scope and budget, support proposals and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• CPEng status in New Zealand.
• Significant consulting or design delivery experience.
• Strong technical expertise across roads, pavements, earthworks, drainage, and utilities.
• Experience with brownfield and live operating environments.
• Knowledge of NZ standards and regulatory frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering packages from feasibility to handover.
• Prepare and review design deliverables and cost estimates.
• Coordinate surveys, geotechnical investigations, and drainage studies.
• Collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Manage scope, budget, programme, risks, quality and assurance.
• Deliver designs for roads, pavements, earthworks, drainage, utilities and industrial sites.
• Mentor junior engineers and build strong client relationships.
