Job summary

Everest in Auckland is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer with strong NZ project history and a passion for land development and infrastructure. You will lead civil design teams, deliver projects end-to-end and ensure alignment with construction outcomes.

The role requires solid Civil3D day-to-day proficiency, a track record of mentoring, and excellent communication across stakeholders to drive quality and efficiency across nationwide projects.

Qualifications

• 6+ years NZ experience in civil, land development and infrastructure.
• Genuinely comfortable using Civil3D day-to-day.
• Strong leadership, mentoring and review capabilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration to align design with construction.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver civil engineering design on land development, subdivision and infrastructure projects in Auckland and nationwide.
• Prepare and review drawings, design reports and specs using Civil3D.
• Design earthworks, drainage, roads and flood management.
• Liaise with Auckland Council, Watercare and statutory bodies through consent processes.
• Oversee construction supervision and ensure design intent is built.
• Mentor junior engineers and graduates; contribute to practice development.
