Job summary

AllRecruits Ltd in Tauranga seeks a Contract Business Analyst for a 12-month-plus engagement. You will identify and document current state processes and work with delivery teams to define future state requirements.

Responsibilities include modelling business processes, eliciting requirements, developing scenario models, and conducting cost-benefit analyses. On-site presence in Tauranga 2–3 days per week with a start within a month.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a dedicated technical Business Analyst.
• Degree in computer science or related field.
• Extensive experience with requirement gathering, modelling business processes and designing and facilitating workshops.
• Extensive experience writing business cases and specifications.
• Strong understanding of database structure, theories and principles.
• Strong oral and written presentation skills across multiple levels of the organisation.
• Supply Chain Experience or Food Safety Quality Experience.
• ERP experience, ideally SAP ERP.

Responsibilities

• Identify and modelling of business processes
• Eliciting, analysing and documenting business requirements
• Developing scenario models and capturing metrics to support decision-making
• Establishing business relationships with functional units
• Creating detailed business analysis outlining problems opportunities and solutions
• Working with functional units to translate and simplify their requirements
• Conducting analysis and research on business problems
• Assist with the introduction of solutions to representative business units
• Design, implement and support business application software
• Build relationships with key stakeholders
• Perform cost-benefit and return on investment analysis
• Able to be on site in Tauranga 2 or 3 days every other week
• Able to start within 1 month of offer
