Job summary

LAB3 is seeking a Senior Data Engineer with strong Azure Data Engineering skills and Fabric experience for a 3-month contract in New Zealand. The role focuses on hands-on planning, provisioning, and delivering Azure Data services, including data warehouses, lakes, and analytics solutions.

You must be in NZ with 5+ years residency for security clearance. The candidate should be able to work remotely across New Zealand and support in-house and external teams.

Qualifications

• Significant design and delivery experience in Azure Data Engineering (Fabric preferred).
• Deep Azure data engineering skills to design data solutions for business requirements.
• Experience with SQL-based data platforms, data warehouses, and analytics tooling.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end planning, provisioning and implementation of Azure Data services.
• Engineer state-of-the-art data platforms on Azure and manage data pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather specifications and deliver data solutions.
