Job summary

A leading Azure engineering practice in New Zealand is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to manage and deliver engineering solutions on Azure Data Platforms for a 3-month contract. Ideal candidates will have significant experience in Azure Data Engineering, including Azure Data Factory and Data Warehousing. As a company, we value flexibility and innovative thinking, providing a supportive environment. Eligible candidates must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents with at least 5 years residing in NZ.

Qualifications

• Significant design and delivery experience in Azure Data Engineering, ideally including Fabric.
• Knowledge of broader Azure Resources, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, IaC, ETL.
• You should be available within 2 weeks for a 3‑month contract.

Responsibilities

• Manage technical solutions on Azure Data Platforms.
• Lead implementation of Azure Data services.
• Support data warehousing including manipulation and integration.
