Placements24 is seeking a Senior Auditor to join a globally distributed, fully remote team operating from South Africa. You will plan, lead, and execute financial statement audits in line with ISAs and IFRS, assess internal controls, perform testing, and coach junior staff.

You will develop client relationships, communicate findings to managers, prepare audit documentation, and ensure budgets and timelines are met. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field is required.
• Professional accounting qualification (CA(SA)/ACCA/CIMA) is mandatory.
• Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in external audit.
• Strong understanding of ISAs and IFRS is essential.
• Proficiency in audit software and data analytics tools is required.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong leadership and ability to manage multiple engagements remotely.

About the Role Our client, a leading assurance and advisory firm, is seeking a highly competent Senior Auditor to join their globally distributed team. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa. The Senior Auditor will be responsible for planning, executing, and supervising financial statement audits for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries.
