• Plan, execute, and finalize audits for financial services clients in accordance with ISAs and IFRS.

• Communicate audit findings and recommendations to client management and audit committees.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., Banks Act, FSCA regulations).
• Develop strong client relationships and act as a key point of contact.
• Prepare audit reports and management letters.
• Stay updated on auditing standards, accounting principles, and industry developments.
• As this role involves significant client interaction and on-site fieldwork, it requires a full-time commitment to the office and client premises.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or equivalent professional qualification.
• Minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience in auditing, preferably with exposure to financial services clients.
• Strong knowledge of International Standards on Auditing (ISAs) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
• Experience with audit software and data analytics tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
• Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Must be legally authorized to work in South Africa.
