Job summary

Datacom, NZ’s leading technology provider, is seeking a Senior AppSec Cybersecurity Consultant to drive application security across our connectivity and security services. You will deliver expert guidance, collaborate with internal teams, and help shape Datacom’s AppSec offerings across client engagements.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in cybersecurity with 5+ years in application security, DevSecOps experience, and OWASP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in application security and DevSecOps.
• Minimum 7+ years in cybersecurity, with 5+ years in application security.
• Ability to lead and develop a team of professionals.
• Experience with OWASP and security testing methodologies.
• Conferences or certifications demonstrating expertise is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Promote innovation, service delivery, and sustainability within the team.
• Collaborate with internal teams, wider business, and customers.
• Foster vendor relationships to support AppSec offerings and services.
• Drive planning, development, and implementation of Datacom’s AppSec offerings.
