Job summary

The Salvation Army Auckland Bridge Centre is seeking a qualified Social Worker or addictions counsellor for our Mt Eden residential programme. The role combines clinical casework, group facilitation and leadership responsibilities as Second in Charge within the team.

You will contribute to integrated care for clients with co-existing addiction and mental health needs, participate in an on-call roster, and support a values-driven, confidential service with salary between 68,000 and 102,000 NZD

Qualifications

• Degree in Social Work or addiction counselling is essential.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• DAPAANZ or other relevant registration required.

Responsibilities

• Provide integrated casework for clients with co-existing addiction and mental health issues.
• Facilitate group sessions and activities as part of the Bridge Programme Model.
• Fulfill Second in Charge leadership responsibilities within the team.
