The Salvation Army Auckland Bridge Centre in Mt Eden, Auckland, is seeking an experienced, qualified and registered Social Worker, Counsellor, or Addictions Practitioner for a residential programme. The role involves integrated care for clients with co-existing addiction and mental health issues, within the Bridge Programme framework.

Qualifications

• Degree in Addictions Counselling, Social Work, or Counselling.
• Registered for a minimum of 2 years with a relevant professional body.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Commitment to continuing professional development relevant to addiction studies.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment, sharing information, ideas and effective practices while maintaining client and service privacy, and confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Provision of casework that provides integrated care for those experiencing co-existing problems of addiction and mental health.
• Group facilitation
• Working within the framework of The Salvation Army Bridge Programme Model of Treatment.
• Implementation of the Salvation Army Bridge Programme Policies and Procedures
