Job summary

Jora New Zealand seeks a Senior Analytics Engineer / BI Consultant to bridge business and technology. This client-facing, hands-on role leads discovery workshops, designs modern data solutions, and builds scalable analytics platforms that deliver real business outcomes.

You will engage stakeholders to understand challenges and reporting needs, design analytics solutions, build data models with Snowflake and dbt, and develop robust SQL-based pipelines while supporting Power BI.

• Advanced SQL skills
• Hands‑on experience with Snowflake, dbt or Databricks
• Expertise in data modelling, data warehousing, and modern ELT frameworks
• Ability to move seamlessly between business conversations and technical delivery
