Job summary

Jora New Zealand is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, build and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines that support analytics, AI and business reporting.

Working closely with analysts, AI engineers, platform teams and business stakeholders, you’ll ensure data is accurate, secure, trusted and readily available for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of commercial data engineering experience.
• Strong SQL and Python development skills.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake and dbt.
• Experience with Azure cloud services.
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT development and data warehousing.
• Understanding of dimensional modelling (Kimball/Medallion).
• Experience with Airflow or similar orchestration tool.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, Git and Azure DevOps.
• Strong problem-solving, communication and stakeholder-management skills.

We’re looking for an experienced Data Engineer to help design, build and maintain scalable data platforms and pipelines that support analytics, AI and business reporting.
